March 25 - April 7

Wow!

For the first seven days, at hundreds of random times, Sasha has been breaking into the Sisters Sledge song, "We are family …"  Then Jonathan, who has very good hearing, and could be anywhere else in the house, responds rhythmically, "Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na!"

The boys must have made a pact not to respond to any Russian Milana addresses to them.  But they can't suppress their latent non-verbal paralanguage.  That's technospeak for tickling.  Even in church.  And up and down the steps, weaving in and out of rooms, trying to hide but failing because the dog gives the hider away every time.  Anya had shared once that that she wishes these teens could have a *childhood.*  Okey dokey.

Milana loves her room—thank you Beth and friends!

The dentist said, "Hmmm…, warn your boyfriend--we'll be seeing a lot of each other. "

She went to the weight room last week at CU to burn off whatever.  I would do that too if nobody understood me.

Figure this:  Stas is a determined, resourceful guy.  Before he heard the great news that he was being adopted, he was thinking hard about his time running out.  So he developed a plan to come to America no matter what--he would marry an American girl.  Milana, not missing a beat, said, "I'll marry you."  We'll see.

Stas can hardly wait to have a family ...
